Speakers

The ArtLinks 2007 conference will feature workshops, keynote addresses, and panel discussions that examine the link between culture and community development. Featured speakers will include some of the most recognized and innovative professionals in their field.

Rebecca Anderson, the Executive Director of HandMade in America, oversees operations and programs that involve more than 3,000 citizens and 20 regional partnerships and serves as a consultant for cultural and economic development projects related to crafts.

Jonathan Katz, has served as CEO of the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies (NASAA) since 1985 and consulted extensively in cultural policy planning, organizational development, and leadership and management training.

Robert Ebendorf, celebrated craft artist in metal and jewelry and a member of the National Metalsmiths Hall of Fame, is the Carol Grotnes Belk Distinguished Professor at the East Carolina University School of Art and Design, as well as serving on the board of the National Endowment for the Arts.
